St. Paul yolu, bir kolu Antalya Perge’den diğeri Aspendos’dan başlayıp Sütçüler yakınındaki Adada antik kentinde birleşerek Eğirdir gölü üzerinden Isparta-Yalvaç’a kadar uzanan Türkiye’deki işaretlenmiş yürüyüş yollarından, Likya yolundan sonra ikinci en uzun olanıdır. 2004 yılında Kardelen Karlı (Kate Clow) ve Terry Richardson’ın organizasyonunda yerel halkın da katkıları ile
işaretlenen ve yaklaşık 410 km uzunluğunda olan bu patika yol, tarihsel olarak hıristiyanlığın yayılmasına büyük katkıda bulunan Aziz (Saint) Paul’un hıristiyanlığı Kudüs’de yaşayan museviler dışında diğer kavimlere yaymak üzere Anadolu’ya ilk geldiğinde izlediği güzergâhı içermektedir.

Bu uzun yürüyüş rotası bizlere yerel hayati ve eski taş evleri görme olanağı vermektedir. Yürüyüş boyunca kalacağımız bu köylerde ayni zamanda geleneksel mutfaklarını, ev yapımı yoğurt ve peynir tatma, el sanatlarını görme fırsatı buluyoruz.

Rotamız büyük çoğunlukla ormanlık alanlardan geçen, kanyonlarla ve patikalarla dolu eski Roma ve göç yollarını içermektedir. Likya yolundan daha sert bi yapıya sahiptir.

 Yürüyüşe başlamadan önce yürüyüş rotalarını gösteren St. Paul Yolu adlı kitabı ve içinde bulunan haritayı, ayrıca sırt çantanızı yanınıza almayı unutmayın.
