Lizbon’un Rossio tren istasyonundan Sitnra`ya 10 dakikada bir kalkan trenler ile 40 dakikalık bir yolculuk ile ulaşabilirsiniz.  Sintra’dan okyanus kıyısına kadar olan bu bölge ormanlık vadiler ile çevrili. Birçok bitkinin yetişmesine  elverişli iklimi olan, doğal bir park. Palacio Pena’nın (Pena Sarayı) arazisi saray ve park olarak, 1995’te UNESCO Dünya Mirası Listesi’ne alınmış.
